We are pleased to announce the launch of our inaugural graduate programme.
These new roles are opportunities for graduates wanting to build careers in web development at our offices in London, Barcelona and New York; aiming to extend this grad scheme to other roles and to expand it to our Montreal office as soon as possible.
We have just recruited the grads for our London and New York offices and are now looking to recruit top junior web developers for our Spanish office, keen to learn about technology and finance, and work on interesting and meaningful projects.
About the grad scheme
This programme has been developed and is managed by experts with solid experience in our industry. It’s a structured training programme focused on technology and finance that will be tailored to each graduate’s profile. It is the ideal launch pad for our future experts and leaders. Each graduate will be mentored and tutored by senior members of the company while working on our in-house projects.
Successful graduates will work as part of an international team. They will use the latest technology to design, build and operate bespoke, real-time, front-to-back solutions for tier-one investment banks and commodity trading firms. Working side-by-side with smart colleagues in a collaborative, non-hierarchical and agile environment. They will have the opportunity to gain exposure on numerous projects, travel to other offices and grow their professional career at Adaptive.
The application process
It’s very simple; we don’t put our candidates through tens of interviews. The job offers are published on our weareadaptive.com/careers page, as well as in university job portals. The application process is as follows:
- Application review. Some of the senior developers that will be working close to our graduates will review the application.
- Preliminary phone screen. If the candidate’s profile is aligned with what we’re looking for, a non-technical phone call will be arranged.
- Technical interview. If both parties are happy to proceed, we’ll invite the candidate to our offices to meet with us for the technical interview being also able to meet some of our technical staff and our Head of HR & Recruiting.
- Director meeting. After passing the technical interview, the candidate will be invited to come back to meet with our directors.
